Station Awards for Excellence in Broadcasting
The Station Awards for Excellence in Broadcasting is an annual competition sponsored by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters.
In 2026, we will once again be using the Rock Our Awards platform for award entry submissions. Please take time to carefully review the Entry Guidelines and Rock Our Awards instructions before submitting your entries.

The KAB Station Awards for Excellence in Broadcasting encourage the highest standards of reporting, programming, and promotion. The competition recognizes outstanding achievement and inspires excellence among Kansas broadcasters in serving their audiences and communities.
The 2026 Station Awards and Individual Achievement Awards will be presented during the KAB Convention on October 19 in Wichita. Entries are being accepted through 10:59 p.m. on July 6, 2026.
Tony Jewell Community Service Award
The KAB Tony Jewell Community Service Award recognizes member radio and television stations for outstanding community service projects that make a meaningful impact in their communities. The purpose of the award is to highlight the important role Kansas broadcasters play in serving the public and improving the quality of life in the communities they serve. Rather than competing against one another, stations are recognized for excellence in community service and civic engagement through a specific project or initiative.
Entries may be submitted through the KAB Broadcast Excellence Awards online entry portal using the Submit Entries link above.
