KAB was founded in 1951 as the Kansas Association of Radio Broadcasters (KARB). In 1970, television broadcasters were welcomed into the association, and in 1971 the organization dropped “Radio” from its name, becoming the Kansas Association of Broadcasters.

A marketing strategy exclusively for state agencies and nonprofits
Each year, stations donate a bank of airtime to the KAB,
which provides valued services to broadcasters throughout
the state. KAB then makes this airtime available at a
discounted rate to government agencies and nonprofits –
organizations that are not already commercial advertisers –
for the purpose of distributing public awareness campaigns
important to Kansans.
Don't wait, book Your PEP campaign now
PEP can only accommodate a limited number of participants each year. We are always in discussions with present PEP
partners and other interested parties as we manage the supply and demand of our “spot inventory.” We DO sellout,
so book your campaigns in advance!
