A major victory for AM radio and the communities it serves. KAB applauds the overwhelming bipartisan House passage of the AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act. We thank the members of Congress who supported this important public safety legislation, including lead sponsors Reps. Gus Bilirakis and Frank Pallone, as well as the Kansas congressional delegation members who have supported this effort. The bill now moves to the Senate. KAB is proud to have joined broadcasters and state associations across the country in advocating for continued access to free, local AM radio in every vehicle.
