Roger Brokke, WIBW TV Group Topeka

Greetings Fellow Broadcasters!

As I reflect on my term as Chairman, I am deeply humbled and honored to have had the opportunity to work alongside the remarkable broadcasters across our great state. Our industry is unique—our businesses never stop. We are here 24/7, 365 days a year, ensuring that Kansans receive the news, information, and entertainment they want and need. Your unwavering commitment to serving your communities is truly inspiring.

I also want to take a moment to recognize and appreciate our incredible KAB staff. Allison has proven to be a fantastic leader and a tireless advocate for Kansas broadcasters, always focusing on initiatives that help us not just survive but thrive–check out the launch of the KAB Trust Campaign below! Joelle, with her dedication to the PEP program and the many behind-the-scenes details, plays a crucial role in supporting all of us. Their efforts are invaluable, and we are fortunate to have them on our team.

Welcome Phil McComb to the incoming Chairman for 2025! He is an experienced and knowledgeable broadcaster that will continue to strengthen our organization.

Station membership dues have been sent for 2025 and PEP (Public Education Partnership Program) pledge sheets to sign and return. The PEP program is the key component for funding our station assistance and initiatives. Please consider raising your pledge if possible as it will directly add back to services for you.

WE is stronger than ME, as we have worked together to uphold the proud tradition of Kansas broadcasting, and I am confident the future of our industry remains bright.
