Here are links to helpful web sites and documents to assist broadcasters in navigating the sometimes murky waters of federal regulations.   These are provided only as a general guide.  Broadcasters should contact their own legal counsel about specific compliance issues.

KAB Member Stations may take advantage of KAB's Legal Hotlines which provide a reliable, quickly available source of expert legal advice for answers to legal questions.   

Radio and television stations may also take advantage of KAB's Alternate Broadcast Inspection Program.  Our inspector will do an FCC-like inspection and if the station is found to be in compliance, it will receive a three-year exemption from routine FCC inspections.
