Full-time Weekend producer for #1 CBS affiliate in Capital City. Will be responsible for weekend newscasts as well as web and social media posting. Focus on other days will be social media inputting.
Producing morning and/or evening weekend newscasts. Must be excellent writer and organizer, who knows the stories that best attract television news watchers. Must be able to work with minimal supervision while directing other weekend staffers and monitoring scanners and other sources of news on the weekend.
Required Skills & Experience
Preference for someone who has producing experience and who's first career choice is producing. On occasion, may require some reporting and shooting, depending on staffing.
