Active Member Benefits
Active members (broadcast stations serving Kansas) are entitled to one free subscription to the KAB Transmitter (monthly newsletter); a free copy of the Kansas Radio/Television Station Roster, free sales training, frequent mailings regarding legislative and industry news of interest to broadcasters, free legel hotlines, discounted rates for FCC/Alternative Inspection Program, broadcast awards competition, and an invitation to participate in all KAB educational/staff development seminars and converntion at discounted registration rates.

Active Member Dues
Active Membership dues are based on net sales.

Contributions or gifts to the KAB are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for income tax purposes. However, they may be tax deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses subject to restrictions imposed as a result of association lobbying activities. KAB estimates the nondeductible portion of your dues - the portion which is allocable to lobbying - is 20%.

Active Membership status is an active, voting membership and is for Kansas radio and television free-over-the-air broadcast stations only.
